Oral explanation.

The sentence in my card was 'Describe the parts of a plant', but as it's a very short term, I'll explain it a little more.

In our world we can find lots of plants, but they all have the same form.

Everything starts with the roots, they become bigger and bigger, then the steam starts growing, but the progress hasn't finished yet, there are two more parts, the first one is the leaf, and last, the flower.

The roots absorb water and mineral from the soil, and they hold the plant so it doesn't fell over.

The steam supports the plant, and it conducts the water and minerals from the roots to all the parts of the plant.

The leaves only capture sunlight, to do the photosintesy.

And, last but not least; flowers contain pollen.

SPEAKING PROJECT

Hi, I'm Marta, and I'm going to talk about someone who abused of a horse. I found this information in the Palmetto Scoop news paper, and happened in South Carolina. The man who did it is Rodell Vereen, and this wasn't the only time he did it.

He has been sentenced to three years in prision, because this wasn't the only time he did it (the first time he was filmed by a camera).

Barbara Kenley, the owner of the barn said she agrees this punishment, because the victim was one of her horses. She said that when she arrived at the barn, she saws the act, and immediately she called the police.

Vereen said that he did it because he wanted, and he liked it.

Hurricane and tornado

The principal difference between the hurricanes and the tornados is that the first ones grow up on the sea, and the other ones grow up on the land. This is the most important thing.







The ones we can see in the photo, is called : ''the Wichita tornado''.

SUMMER IS OVER!

This summer has been great for me.
On July, if been on a summer sports camp. Every day, from monday to friday, making a lot of sport, like basketball, football (EVERY DAY!), waterpolo, handball, swimming...
This picture was made one day in Figueres swimming pool. Every day we went there one hour.
But I liked the last day, because we danced, and we had a bath in the foam.
I really like it.




But this was only on July, because in August, I went with my family to a camping, near Banyoles. We stayed there two weeks, and I talked a lot of English, because mi sister and I made a lot of friends from Netherlands. But, I didn't talk only English, I talked a little of Italian and French (my sister talked it, because I only know how to say ''Hello'', ''How are you'', and a little more).
But I really like it, and, next year, on 2011, I want to return there, and met another time my friends:).







But, it isn't all. I've been in Aragó this year. One week. I love it. But, it was always raining. The weather there is very wet, and we went always with a jacket. But, my favorite day, it was when we went on a river and we made rafting. It is very difficult, but I really like it. It's like making kayak but with a big boat, and there are 8 people into it. I really like it.
But, it happened very fast this week there for me. I love it.







But the summer has been finished, and these great moments are just in my mind, but I only should wait to the next summer, to have another moments, that will be better.
